Let It Snow....

Today I am participating in the Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop Challenge. This was a fun challenge and one that I just loved!!!
When I saw the inspiration photos and watched that cute video I knew what exactly what I was going to create :)

Here are the pictures:

Here is what I came up with:

I used the Papertrey Ink O'Tannenbaum stamp set for this card. The background trees were stamped with some Simon Says Stamp inks, Khaki and Dark Chocolate. The Christmas trees were stamped with some Color Box Frost White ink and then I heat embossed the tree with some Star Dust embossing powder. The edge and the star I stamped with some Color box silver ink and then embossed it with some silver embossing powder.
I used the Let it Snow stamp set from Lawn Fawn for the falling snow and then layered some snowflakes cut from the globe shaker die from PTI over top to give it some depth.
To finish it off I added some bling to the snowflakes because this card needed some more sparkle...lol :)

Thanks for stopping by,
Cheryl

  8. You hit it out of the park Cheryl! Your color palette is understated and just plain gorgeous. I love the way you set the scene for your show-stopping Tannenbaum. Thanks for posting nice large images so the details could be seen, and thanks for the several angles to play up all that shine and sparkle. Lucky recipient of this beauty.
