My First Mini Album

Here’s a video to see the whole album

I had fun making this paper bag album. I think that I have chosen all the pictures that I want to include and I think that I know where they going. lol. The pockets (the bags) are going to be filled with some of my boys’ artwork and extra pictures, so all the space of this album is really nice.
Thanks for stopping by,
Cheryl

Challenge Me Monday #52 - "Happy Birthday"

This week we were to design a birthday card for Robin over at Fantabulous Cricut. My card is a 5 by 5, with a mat piece of paper that is just shy of that. The corner blue piece was embossed with my Cuttle bug  and all the edges have been distressed.  The flower is from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge, and the sentiment has been heat embossed with yellow embossing powder.

My Pink Stamper Pink-alicious Blog Hop!!

Something for spring! This tag was cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cartridge. The bird cage, bird and the flourish with the sentiment are all cut from the Sentimentals  Cartridge.  Everything is distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
I have been thinking about doing a card in this style for a while. I wanted it to look romantic and for the bird to look like it was flying away when you pull it open.

Challenge #51 "Hip to be Square" -green & gold

Hello again, I had a lot of fun creating this card. I had just received a beautiful stack of paper that has this white with green and gold in it!
The green butterfly and square scallop are cut from the Sentimentals Cartridge.  I distressed the edge and the middle of the butterfly with my Versa Mark and gold powder then heat embossed them. I also heat embossed the sentiment with gold powder. The edge of the scallop and the patterned paper are distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Hope you like it,
Cheryl

FIF - Tags, Bags, Boxes & More

This box was cut from the Bags, Tags, Boxes and More cartridges at 4 and ¾.  The purple paper was cut at 4 and ¼ , it was then de-stressed and then inked with Tim Holtz de-stressing ink Vintage Photo.
The flower is the shift cut of flower #6 from the Forever Young cartridge, cut at ¾ for the big ones and ¼ for the little ones.
Sparkles were then put onto the center of all the flowers.
The corners are dotted with a white gel pen, and the ribbon is some that I had from around the house.
It was a lot of fun to make... hope you like it,
Cheryl :)
