My First Halloween Card of the Season

Hello and happy Friday! It has gotten chilly over the last couple of days and it's now beginning to really feel like fall!!
The stores are for the most part are in full Halloween mode and that has got me to thinking about my Halloween crafting...lol

One one the great things about having a Silhouette is seeing all the new images that become available in the on line store each week! I have been loving it!
About a month ago I saw some spider webs  in in the Silhouette store and I knew exactly what I wanted to create...lol

And of course here is my YouTube video:

Well I hope you have a great Friday night tonight!!

Sprinkled With Love

Well it's mid week and I'm Felling pretty good :) It is cool out today and it is finally feeling like fall!

Today I am sharing two cards I made about a week ago using my PaperTrey Ink, Make It Market: Shakers and Sprinkles Kit. I just love that kit, it is so bright a cheerful and I love fun the cards you can make with it!!!

Here are the two most recent shaker cards I made:

The pink card is filled with supplies from the kit, the blue card is filled up with some chunky glitter I got at Michael's and some white sequins I purchased on ebay. On both cards I have added a tone of clear Wink of Stella to the sentiment for some extra sparkle!!

I have already given the blue shaker card away for my mother in laws birthday and the pink one is going out today.

A Pretty Birthday Shaker Card

My niece's birthday was last weekend and I wanted to make her a pretty birthday card. I decided to pull out an old favourite Lawn Fawn stamp set Bake Me A Cake.
I have had some fun over the last couple of weeks making some shaker cards so I decided to make another one for Julianna.

I love how this card turned out!! I used my Silhouette to create the stitched frame and and filled it with some sequins and die cuts from a Papertrey Ink shaker card die.
I stamped the cake with Memento Tuxedo black ink and then coloured it in with my Spectrum Noir markers. I distressed the edge of the panel with some Worn Lipstick for a bit of a pop. I then added some glitter to the icing and some hearts to the front of the card :)

I have been wanting to post and upload videos to my YouTube channel on a more regular bases. I have been thinking of a series that would help me to do this and one of the ideas that I had was a Silhouette Sunday series. This will be a time where I share a project that I have made through the week using my Silhouette.

As I shared a couple of days ago I made some fun stickers for my Erin Condren planner using my Silhouette machine, I have made a video for my YouTube channel sharing them so I thought that I would share that video here too:

Diving Into My Erin Condren!

I  was so excited to receive my first Erin Condren Life Planner on Monday, it was early and it was perfect!! Such a great way to start off my week!  I have enjoyed having it but I did not really start to use it until today...lol

Over the last couple of days I have been creating some custom stickers to use in it and I have been mapping out how I would like to use it. So today I decided that I should just start my planning with my beautiful new planner :) I have some dates that I would like get into it and we have quite a few weekly activities that I would like to get written down.

Here are some shots of my planner with some of my stickers:

I colour coordinated my stickers for each family member and I love how they turned out. I will make more over the next little while, but I wanted to use my planner for a while so I could have a better understanding of what I would like to use on a regular bases. I also want to make some closer to the fall for the boys' school schedule and church activities.

I have been wanting one for a very long time and I was so excited to finally get one! The one big deciding factor for me jumping into the Erin Condren planning world was the new horizontal layout!

Cards for the I Care Card Ministry

A couple of week ago I received a message from Janita Taylor asking if I would like to apart of her church's card ministry. I loved the idea of this, it is something that I have wanted to do for a while and was very excited to participate in this new ministry.
She has a video on her YouTube channel sharing all the details of her ministry that you check out here if you would like :)

Here are the cards that I have created:

The first five cards are made  using the  Meadow Greens Papertrey Ink stamp. I have used Simon Says Stamp ink to stamp the flowers and leaves and Distress ink around the edge of the card. The sentiments are from a Scrappy Moms, Impression Obsession and the Meadow Greens stamp sets.

The next three cards are made using the Sweet Life stamp set from Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is from the Think Big Favorites #3. The flowers are stamped with Simon Says Stamp ink and I used Memento Tuxedo black ink for the sentiment.

This last fun card is made using the Lawn Fawn, Flying By stamp set and the Hero Arts stamp set The Sky's The Limit for the clouds. The clouds are stamped with Simons Says Stamp ink and the air planes and the sentiment are stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink.

I hope the cards arrive safely and quickly and if you have any questions about this ministry please see Janita Taylor's video for more information. (the link for the video is above)
