A Bug Deal Birthday Card

Hello!! Wow I cannot believe that I have not posted on this blog in over 2 years! Time flies when you're busy... For quite some time, I did not have much time for crafting, and when I did I didn't have the time for making, editing videos or blog posts. Well I am happy that today I had the time to both create this fun Lawn Fawn card as well as create this blog post.

Today's card was all Lawn Fawn fun! I received these fun stamps last year for mother's day and to tell you the truth I have not really used them much. I was really excited to create this card with them. I have tried to keep the card more as a masculine card, having three boys and lots of nephews I always seem to need masculine cards. I am happy to add this card to my stash :)

The finished card  is a 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 square. The white panel was cut with the Lawn Fawn 4 inch stitched square die.  The branch from the A Bug Deal stamp set was stamped with my Stamp Perfect, the white panel was rotated to create the wreath like effect. I saw a card like this last year sometime and I have been excited to try it out myself, and I am really happy with how well it worked!

All the Lawn Fawn images and sentiments were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and everything was coloured with Spectrum Noir markers, all the colours I used are in the photo above.
Before I glued everything to branches I inked the edges of the card with some Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks.

Once the front was all glued and completed, I turned my attention to decorating the inside of the card...

The inside is also cut with the Lawn Fawn 4 inch square stitched die, I used Mowed Lawn Distress  and the Lawn fawn grass stencil to create the grassy border along the bottom. I inked the top of the square with some Tumbled Glass Distress ink to create a soft sky. I glued some more cute little bugs and finished it off with the cute "bug deal" sentiment.

This card was a lot pf fun to create, I have really enjoyed spending some time in my craft room.

Thanks for stopping by,
Cheryl

  7. I seek divine intervention that any individual who has arrived on this article through a quest for a Deal or no deal application, will investigate how they can engage themselves by figuring out how to bring in cash on the web, rather than parting with their power by thinking they need to go on game shows like Deal or No Deal.
