My Cricut Dust Cover

Hi everyone, I hope you had a very nice Easter!!! With the kids home yesterday we had a nice quiet day and we did not have to go anywhere :D

I woke up yesterday feeling like trying out a project I wanted to make for a while. I have seen some videos on You Tube for Cricut dust covers and I wound up wanting one...lol I craft in my basement and I found that it is becoming quite dusty down there.

I did not want to order on from EBay or Etsy because the shipping is I feel over the top, so I Goggled Cricut dust covers and I found THIS free pattern from Custom Crops!! Not only did they have a free pattern they have also provided video tutorials to help you out :)

I went to a local material shop and found all my material on the remnants table and got everything quite cheep :D I used a tweed material for the cover and cotton for all the accents. I used my Cricut to cut out my initials and they were cut using the Song Bird cartridge.

I am really happy with how it turned out and it is on my Cricut right now :D I have to iron it a bit more, I ran out of time yesterday, but I am very happy to have it!!!

Thanks for stopping by,
Cheryl

  1. What a great idea & LOVE that you found a free pattern -- need to do a cover for my Gazelle here in the very dusty desert SW! Also, LOVE that you used your initials -- sooo CLEVER to personalize it!!! Thanks so much for sharing with us @ My Sheri Crafts!!! I'm sure several others will want to do these covers now too.
